When many people share one roof, certain rules are needed so that everyone can feel at ease.
When many people share one roof, certain rules are needed so that everyone can feel at ease: on the one hand, rights and duties need to be set out to allow for orderly coexistence; on the other, a community requires mutual consideration.

Visitors are expected to show the respect due to a mosque. We therefore also ask you to observe the dress code.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the premises.

The cleanliness of the mosque matters greatly to us, as it is one of the basic principles of Islam.

Visitors to the mosque are asked to place their shoes on the racks provided.

Eating and drinking are not permitted in the prayer rooms. Please use the rooms provided for this purpose. (Exception: Iftar during Ramadan)

The mosque accepts no liability for coats, bags or valuables.

Please use water and hygiene products sparingly.

Recordings of any kind (photo, video, audio, etc.) and the distribution or posting of printed material are only permitted with the board’s approval.

Collecting donations and holding events require the board’s approval.

Staying overnight in the mosque is not permitted, except during the last days of the fasting month of Ramadan.

Politics and radicalisation are prohibited; please report any such activity to the board immediately.

Parents are responsible for their children and for ensuring that they behave respectfully in the mosque. This applies in particular during prayers and sermons.

Please make sure your mobile phone is switched off during prayer.

Visitors are asked to treat all mosque staff and volunteers with due respect and to follow their instructions.

We ask all visitors not to gather in front of the mosque, as this disturbs pedestrians and neighbours.

Please wear socks when visiting the mosque.

A quiet atmosphere is required during prayer times and in the prayer hall in general.
